Terms of service
The rules of buying from us, written to be read. Last updated September 2026. Nothing here removes your statutory rights as a consumer.
PLACING AN ORDER
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract starts when we email to say it has been dispatched. If something sells out between your order and our packing, we'll tell you and refund that line in full.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
Prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT at 20%. Delivery is free over £20, and any cost on smaller orders is shown before you pay. We take payment when the order is placed. If a price is obviously wrong, we'll contact you before dispatch rather than quietly charge it.
DELIVERY
Mainland UK usually arrives in two to three working days; Northern Ireland, the Highlands and the islands can take longer. Some items ship direct from the supplier, so a multi-item order may turn up in more than one parcel. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees, but if it's late we'll chase the courier for you.
WHERE OUR PRODUCTS COME FROM
We work with a group of suppliers and makers in the UK and further afield to keep quality up and prices sensible. Whoever packs it, the order is with us: we handle the questions, the returns and the refunds.
CANCELLING AND RETURNING
You have 14 days from delivery to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and we give you 30 to change your mind. Full detail, including who pays postage, is on the returns page.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
We publish real measurements and describe things as accurately as we can. Photography and screens being what they are, colours can shift slightly. Fit our sizes to your own measurements rather than to a photograph.
USING OUR PRODUCTS SENSIBLY
Gutter guards and clearing tools involve ladders and heights. Follow the instructions, and if the roof is high or the weather is bad, get someone qualified in. We aren't liable for damage or injury from unsafe fitting.
LIABILITY
If we get it wrong, we'll put it right. Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order, except where the law does not allow that limit. Nothing here affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction. Complaints go to us first, through the contact page — most things are sorted the same day.
TRADING INFORMATION
GAFFBY is a trading name of Siddhartha Reddy Kayitha, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.
